The Most Comprehensive Live Music Listings for San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties
Designed and managed by former Tribune senior writer and web editor Brian Milne, The 805 Music Guide was created by local music fans for local music fans, providing music goers with the most comprehensive list of local live music peformances and concerts on the Central Coast (San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties).
From packed concerts at Vina Robles, the Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles, The Siren in Morro Bay and Santa Barbara Bowl, to intimate winery and beachside sets up and down the Central Coast, the 805 is home to one of the most diverse and underrated live music scenes on the West Coast.
Our mission is simple: make it easier to discover what’s happening, where to go, and which experiences are truly worth your time. We built 805 Music Guide as more than just another event calendar. We’re trying to simplify the process of finding good local live music, especially considering the Central Coast music scene is scattered across dozens of cities and countless venue websites, social media pages, ticketing platforms, wineries, bars, fairs and band websites.
Finding great live music often means digging through Instagram posts, outdated calendars and incomplete listings.
We wanted to create one trusted destination that brings the region’s music scene together in a clean, easy-to-use format designed for locals, travelers and music lovers alike.
Our coverage spans the entire 805 region, including Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo County, Santa Barbara, Ventura, and the surrounding Central Coast communities.
Alongside live music listings, you’ll also find concert guides, featured venues, festival coverage, local artist spotlights, winery concert series, weekend recommendations and curated picks for the best live entertainment happening across the region.
Whether you’re searching for a major touring act, an acoustic set at a vineyard, a local band downtown, or a last-minute show tonight, 805 Music Guide is built to help you discover it faster.
At its core, 805 Music Guide exists to support the artists, venues, wineries, promoters and local businesses that help shape the music culture of the 805.
Live music brings people and communities together, supports local economies and creates experiences people remember for years. We’re proud to help amplify the voices, venues and events that make the 805 music scene so special.
